I started with Evergreen as a Dirt Camp Mentor and have since worked my way through roles as Assistant Coach, Head Coach, Site Lead, and now Dirt Camp Manager.  Being on two wheels has always been a huge part of my life, and Evergreen has given me the chance to give back to the sport that’s shaped who I am.  Over the years, I’ve loved the challenge of improving the camp experience, always asking myself, what would I have wanted as a young camper?  That mindset has driven everything from new lesson formats and curriculum to better trail progression.  Helping kids get into the sport of mountain biking and being stoked on riding keeps me coming back year after year.

What should kids expect when they sign up for a camp with Evergreen?

Expect a week full of fun, progression, and new friends.  Our camps are all about building confidence and skills in a way that keeps it exciting throughout the whole week.  Each day builds on the last, with a focus on learning new techniques, exploring different trails, and pushing limits in a supportive, safe environment.  Whether it’s your first time on a bike or you want to take your riding to the next level, there’s always something new to unlock.

What's a fun fact about you?

I started mountain biking at Duthie Hill and learned all my fundamental skills there.  Those early days at Duthie helped launch me into slopestyle and freeride mountain biking, eventually opening the door to travel across North America for events.  It’s always awesome coming back and coaching on the same trails that first got me hooked on the sport.
