How do Washington MTB trails stack up? We asked the pros.
A group of Team Epic donors has contributed a
$20,000 MATCH fund to DOUBLE your impact!
We love Washington trails—but we’re biased. So we asked local pros Jill Kintner and Luke Strobel to weigh in on the trails your donations support.
“Washington’s trails are unlike anywhere else,” says Olympic mountain biking bronze medalist Jill Kintner. “I’ve ridden around the world, and there're just amazing trails right here, and a great sense of community around them.”
“People joke about me being a homebody,” adds pro mountain biker and Issaquah native Luke Strobel, “but the trails we have are awesome. Mountain bikers have a sense of ownership here.”
Our world-class trails exist because of you. When you donate NOW, a group of Team Epic Donors will MATCH your support, up to $20,000!
“When the community cares about giving back to the trails they ride it has a real impact,” says Kintner “it makes them special. That’s why every time I travel to ride somewhere else, I’m glad to come back home.”
We’re just $67,478 away from our year-end goal – will you help us reach the finish line by unlocking this Team Epic cash match?
Your support for mountain bike trails drives new trails projects and maintenance work across the state. When you get your donation matched today, you’re helping to start 2018 strong!
“I don’t think a lot of people realize how good we have it here,” adds Luke “there are so many great trails close by—and they’re all different across the state—donating a little bit of money and time is totally worth it.”
You’ve helped raise over $361,572 for trails this year—and over $20,000 since the start of our End of Year State of Trails campaign. We’re nearly there, please send your gift to trails today (or purchase a gift membership) and watch Washington’s trails get better and better.
