Brandon Ontiveros
Raised in the Midwest, developed in the West, Brandon has spent several decades exploring wild places on two wheels and making a career in the bike industry. He has lived and run mountain bike businesses in Oregon, Colorado and Washington and currently resides in Bellingham, WA with his wife Liz and son Coda.
Brandon helped pioneer the sport of Enduro and was pivotal in starting the first Enduro race series in North America (Oregon Enduro Series). He ran the Big Mountain Enduro national series for over a decade and was involved with managing the first Enduro World Series events in the US. Working closely with land managers across the country, including the USFS, DNR, BLM and major bike parks throughout North America, Brandon has helped numerous communities develop world-class trail networks and focus on destination marketing and tourism.
With 20 years of experience in outdoor recreation, event production, trail planning and development, bike park operations and land management relations, Brandon brings a broad perspective and creative approach to the Evergreen team.
When not working as the Trails Director, Brandon enjoys time outdoors with his family, honing his craft as a trail builder and rider, carpentry and doing construction projects at his property, and traveling near and far to promote the sport of mountain biking. He lives and breathes the mountain lifestyle and is often called a professional “Trail Connoisseur” in constant search for the best descents in the Pacific Northwest.
