Drove out to Darrington this morning to get in a couple runs on the lower trails today. I parked at the lower shuttle road and began climbing and noticed that DNR, Snohomish County, or another entity brought up their shoulder shredder to eliminate all the overgrowth on each side of the road! It is great to know we won't be clearing spider webs or getting wet from the Fall dew during the climbs now. Lower Skyline is almost needing a brush cutting too. Soils are dry and gravel exists too. Had a nice brew, burger, and fries at the Red Top Tavern while a 30 minute shower was happening outside! Conditions should be a little better for you tomorrow!
