A Wet and Muddy Tiger

09 | Apr | '22

It was 40 and spitting rain as I arrived at the lower lot; a buddy and I geared up and rode out anyway. Master Link was damp with tire sucking mud that was frosted over with occasional snow patches at the Inside Passage turn off. We rode the passage down to Joy Ride, which has large puddles, slippery off camber roots and slick rocks everywhere. Pay attention! Also that nasty off camber root drop on North's Worst Timber Trail has eroded during the winter, making it even less rideable. EMBA needs to fix this spot, before someone is seriously injured.

Finally, my backup helmet (pictured, Bell Super Air R) is available on Offer Up for $149. HMU!
