They are actively logging off a side road about 2 or 3 miles up the Suntop road.  Be on the lookout for trucks but probably not an issue on weekends

We did not go to the lookout so I have no info about the upper trail piece. Still 5-7 easy to step over trees and some minor snow to push through. No bug issues to speak of -- yet. :) Creek crossing were easy.
