Tiger Mountain State Forest: Masterlink Culvert Projects

Come help increase the sustainability of the primary climbing trail on Tiger Mountain! (Masterlink very close to the intersection with Inside Passage) We will be digging some borrow pits to throw dirt on top of some explosed culverts, moving some drains around, and building rock head-walls around the culverts. Don't worry the rocks are already there.

They are small areas to work in, so we are only looking for 4 participants.

We will meet in the DOT lot at Tiger summit. I will provide transportation of participants and their bikes to a location very close to the worksite. Bring your bike for a shuttle to the summit at the end of the work party.

 

 PLEASE BRING:

-Work Gloves 

-Sturdy Footwear recommended

-Clothing for all weather (Sun or rain?! Layers are helpful)

-Backpack with water and snacks

-Bike and riding gear if you want to go for a pedal after

-Bike lock

Evergreen will provide:

-Tools for trail work

-Transportation from trail head to worksite
