I arrived at the trailhead around 7:30 this morning and wanted to get a few more of the gnarly features on PTD under my belt. However, after heading down, I balked at two easy features and psyched myself out. I wasn’t feeling like myself either because of the lack of sleep or because of the loose, dry conditions. So I changed my plan and just went exploring to the higher trails I haven’t seen yet. I climbed up to the top of Eye Candy and descended that trail and then Sundance and Double Ds. Eye Candy and Sundance were fun (definitely real fun if the soil would have been hero!). I climbed back up to do MNIIM except for the open doubles and still had a blast. Dirt was very dry and the rocks were grippy but a bit intimidating today :-(.  Now I must return another day to try again. Trailforks ride log is here.
