Snow Returns to Cover the Lower, Upper Trails

12 | Mar | '23

Drove the truck up to the bottom of the Skyline trail to see if the new snow this week was minimal and the higher, trail bottoms were still ridable. After starting at the bottom, the snow became 5-6" thick and Lower Skyline wasn't ridable at all. I went back down to the Skills Park and met up with a buddy and we did several runs on the lowland trails there. After our ride, I climbed up to the bottom of Out of the Blue and started up the trail and Thanks and Kudos go the the big saw crew who cleared the lower segment obstructions. When the recent snow melts again, the lower segment of Out of the Blue should be ridable again. Beautiful sunrise this morning and the new snow on Whitehorse was gorgeous. GPS track here.
