Evergreen is working with Bainbridge Island Metro Parks to design and build a new mountain bike park at Strawberry Hill Park. We have completed the early design phase. Evergreen staff have flagged out the initial design of the trail system and have been meeting with stakeholders for onsite walkthroughs to discuss the vision of the bike park. Along with stakeholder meetings, Evergreen staff and Bainbridge Island Metro Parks are engaging with the the local tribes, youth, and community on the Island. Bainbridge Island Metro Parks is now begining the second phase of this project which includes permitting and creating a bid package.
