Our Progress Comes from Your Support

It's been a huge year for mountain biking in Washington.  We've seen a groundswell of support for riding, the most volunteer hours yet, and more new trails being built for mountain biking than in our state's history.  There is a lot for all of us to be proud of.

And it's because of your continued support that Evergreen has been able to accomplish more this year than ever before.

Sure there's still tons of work to be done-but take a look back on what you've helped achieve in 2014.

This is just a small sample of what your support resulted in:

  • Four new trails opened on Tiger Mountain- doubling the trail mileage!
  • New trails finished in Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Chelan, and approval for Tokul
  • Construction under way on a new descending trail on Tiger
  • Finishing trails planning at Raging River (I-90 near North Bend), Wenatchee, & Spokane
  • Completion of Phase 1 construction at Swan Creek Park in Tacoma
  • The launch of our brand new website and completely redesigned Trail Guide

But you won't catch us sitting back to admire those accomplishments - we've got work to do!  We have momentum and we're ready to think, plan, and act big in 2015.  Here's what you'll have to look forward to as Washington mountain bikers in the next 12 months:

As part of our 2015 Trails Campaign Evergreen plans to:

  • Complete the new Tiger Mountain descent trail connecting to Iverson and work with DNR on a new climbing trail
  • Build the trails and skills area recently approved near Black Diamond
  • Start work on Alpine Baldy trail (Skykomish), partner on construction of Mt Washington trail (North Bend), and others.
  • Continue new trail work in Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Chelan, Spokane, and more
  • Lead the First Ever Mountain Bike Lobby Day in Olympia!  MTBers have a larger voice than ever before!
  • Expand the education program-more classes, more areas, and more kids on bikes!

But we need your help today.  To meet the goals of our 2015 Trails Campaign we need to raise a total of $147,500-and so far we've been able to secure $68,000.  That's a great beginning, but we need your donation to help us raise $79,500 by December 31st.  Without it we can't continue the movement you've helped to start.

Please donate online today so we can make 2015 another banner year for mountain bikers statewide. No amount is too small (or large) to help.

*Some of our grants require cash matching so we could lose them without your donation.

**Does your company match donations to nonprofits? If so, please report your match to your employer or contact our office so that we may further leverage your generous support.

Support the 2014 Evergreen Trails Campaign and your local trails.
