Working the Uppers (TNC/TCF)

This week meeting up at Alliance Rd. and coming in from the Cle Elum/Roslyn side of the ridge.

The plan is to meet at the Alliance Rd. Gate (see directions below), drive to the top of the ridge and brush out Upper Rat Pac as we make our way over to the Upper Big Sandy trail corridor on the Teanaway side of the ridge. From there we will corridor clear the Upper Big Sandy Trail where we have a measly .25 miles of corridor left to clear.

We will be brushing, lopping, trimming and sawing branch's, small trees and downed logs and chucking things out of the corridor. The work is fast, fun and rewarding.

Bring your bike and get a shuttle in exchange for your work! We should be able to drive bikes up to the ridge so you can ride back down when the workparty is over!

What to bring:

• Loppers, hand saw, anything suitable for brushing and clearing. Just bring yourself if you don't have anything. We will have plenty of work for everyone!
• Water, snacks, lunch.
• Dress in layers for the weather!

I plan to work even in light rain. If heavy weather comes in I will cancel here and by posting in the Kittitas Mountain Bike Forum on Facebook by 8:00am the morning of.
