Crank Sisters Snoqualmie Summit 101 – Intermediate and Advanced
Overview
Have you been wanting to explore Snoqualmie Summit but not sure where to start? Or maybe you’ve done a million laps on the same run but never had a crew to venture with to try different trails. This event is for you! There will be multiple ride leaders leading rides.
This event is for intermediate or advanced riders who are 18+ (unless riding with a parent or guardian) and identify as female. This is not a beginner ride.
Date and Start Time Logistics
Saturday, June 20 from 10 am to 2 pm. Please meet in the parking lot at 0945 am for a briefing and equipment check. We will then head up together at 2 pm and split into 2-3 groups depending on route preference.

Ride Details
Crank Sisters has a no drop policy and will regroup often, however, if a rider’s skill level or equipment is not suitable for the planned route or for safety and group integrity, the rider may be asked to return to the start with an escort. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Location & Parking
Snoqualmie Summit offers the peak of mountain biking along the I-90 corridor in Washington State, you'll find everything from classic flowing forest trails to rowdy rock slabs and technical downhill descents. Hitting the trails is fast and convenient thanks to easy parking right at the lodge and a high-speed quad to take you to the top. Less than an hour from Seattle via I-90.

Gear Checklist
- Helmet: Full-face helmet recommended for this downhill adventure.
- Pads: Knee and elbow pads recommended. Body armor / chest protection also often worn.
- Gloves: Full finger gloves with reinforced palms for grip and protection strongly recommended.
- Bike: Mountain bike in good working condition. E-bikes are allowed only with an ADA placard. Info: Evergreen e-bike access.
- Water & Snacks: Bring hydration and snacks. Electrolytes and lunch strongly recommended.
- Clothing: Dress for variable weather, including a light rain jacket; you'll get hot going up and cold coming down. Avoid cotton. Tech clothes or wool are your friend.
- Repair Kit: We recommend including a spare tube, small pump, multi-tool, patch kit, and anything else your bike may need.
Weather & Cancellation
- Ride in light rain or drizzle.
- Canceled/rescheduled only for heavy rain, high winds, or unsafe conditions.
- Updates posted the evening before the ride if weather is uncertain.
