Join Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for the Grand Opening of the Cookie Cutter Trail System in the Naneum Ridge State Forest. This project has been in the works for as long as the Evergreen Kittitas Chapter has existed, and we would love your support as we celebrate this milestone together.

What: Grand Opening of the Cookie Cutter Trailhead and signage installation across the trail system in the Naneum Ridge State Forest. Ceremony followed by guided hikes and rides.

When: 10am on May 16, 2026

Where: Naneum Ridge State Forest Lower Trailhead

Who: All are welcome to join Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and community partners in celebration.

This celebration marks the completion of seven years of phased trail development and the opening of 12 purpose-built singletrack trails totaling about 14 miles, along with a new skills area featuring seven progression trails. The system offers a wide range of riding opportunities, from beginner flow to advanced downhill terrain on the upper ridge. The event will include a short ceremony at the lower trailhead followed by guided hikes and rides on the new trails. This project was made possible through a long-term partnership between Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and Washington State Department of Natural Resources, supported by community fundraising, grants, and volunteer efforts. All are welcome!
