Co-Ed Evergreen Crank Sisters Beginner-Intermediate Level Ride . This is a social paced ride and welcomes beginners. Ride is about 8 miles. There will be stops at trail junctions.  Our pace is determined by the groups ability.

About the Trails / Ride / Grunt Rating: BDOS is forested  single track trails, cross country rooty  green and blue technical ratings.  Also there are some single black technical and steep trails which this ride won't include. 

  • Crank Sisters has a no-drop policy--we will regroup often. 

This ride is limited to 18+ years old unless riding with a parent or guardian.  All riders need to meet the above experience requirements.

E-Bikes:  King County Parks adopts the same position as DNR: You can legally use E-Bikes on trails if you have an ADA place card in your car. Here is the link to trails that allow E-Bikes without needing an ADA card: https://www.evergreenmtb.org/ebikeaccess

Before you RSVP for this ride, please sign the waiver at https//.www.evergreenmtb.org/my/waiver: Right click and click open in new window. This waiver needs to be signed once a year. When you click the link, it will tell you whether you have signed this year. If not, it will give you a link to sign it.

  • Please cancel your RSVP before the ride time if you can’t make the ride. Text the rider leader Sarah Andrew 360-556-3244 if you have to cancel within two hours of the ride.Please RSVP at least 2 hours before the ride.

Directions

BDOS is east on the east side of SR 169, between Maple Valley and Black Diamond.    We meet in the parking lot ready to ride at 5:00pm.

  • Restroom: there is a restroom at the trail head.

Equipment:

  • Please bring: rain jacket, a mountain bike in good working order, helmet, 1 liter of water, electrolytes, backpack with some snacks, and spare bike tube.  

Conditions for cancellation: (heavy wind, lightning, flooding etc.) If a ride must be canceled, the ride leader will attempt to contact anyone signed up by 3pm the day before the ride.
