This class is designed for riders identifying within Levels 3.
Ready to start getting your wheels off the ground? This camp is designed to be an immersive experience that will teach riders how to safely execute jumps and drops. The days will be structured with drills, games, and trail rides in a controlled and supportive environment. This jump camp will build foundational skills like proper body positioning, pumping, and bike handling techniques crucial for successfully getting air.
Coaches will work with those new to jumps and those that wish to take their jumping skills to the next level.
Participants must be 9-13 years old.
Prerequisites: Students are required to have attended a prior Evergreen camp or have been riding singletrack for 2+ years to enroll in this class.
Class Focus:
- Balance & Body Positioning
- Wheel lifts & bunny hops
- Drops and Jumps: rollers, drops and beginning jumps
- Trail maintenance: One day will be focused on giving back to the trails we love and learning the basics of trail building
Students are responsible for supplying their own bike and equipment for MOST Evergreen classes & camps. Bikes may be available in Central or East.
