Advanced Dirt Camp for Youth at Duthie Bike Park

This class is designed for riders identifying within Levels 4 to 5.

Taken several camps with us before and feeling ready to advance to larger jumps and more technical terrain? Sounds like this camp is for you!

This camp takes a similar approach to our standard dirt camp: skill building drills and games in the morning and trail rides in the afternoon. Prepare to refine foundational skills and progress into challenging terrain throughout the week. This camp focuses on getting our Level 4-5 riders up to the next level of riding and taking on trails that require more skill and commitment. Riders must be comfortable riding 3+ foot drops as well as table top jumps of most sizes; hoping to venture into the world of gap jumps.

Participants must be 9-13 years old.

Please note that this camp is for advanced riders only. Please read carefully through the level descriptions to see if this is the right camp for your child.

Full face helmets are required for advanced camp.

Class Focus:

• Advanced Skill Refinement: improve balance and bike-body separation through advanced features and faster riding
• Drops and Jumps: medium to large size (4+ ft jumps and 12+ft long tabletop and gap jumps)
• Trail maintenance: One day will be focused on giving back to the trails we love and learning the basics of trail building
