TRAIL E @ RAGING RIVER! Help us create the newest descending trail at Raging River.
Join us every Thursday and Friday from 2pm- 6pm and Saturdays from 10am- 2pm.
Meeting at the yellow gate on Winery Road. We will have vehicles available to shuttle you and your bike up to the work site location or if you leave your bike at home, you will have a seat in a vehicle. If you decide to pedal your bike up to the work site location- please know that we wont be arriving until possibly 20-30minutes after 2pm. * You are also welcome to pedal your bike up to the location later than the work party start time. We will have buckets to mark the foot path to the work site location. It is best to enter the foot path behind where the vehicles are parked. You will cross the climbing trail, upward mobility and then cross Lower Poppin Tops. Please look UP trail for descending bikes.
We recommend wearing long layers, sturdy shoes, bring garden gloves. Snack and water to keep you comfortable.
The scope of work will change every week! Our goals for the month of October is to spend some time benching the trail in, rock armouring and tailoring some of the features. As well as clearing the corridor further down the descent.
Trail E is our newly approved BLUE descending trail that will descend down the front side of Raging River from Poppin Tops. This trail is about 4miles in length and will be a true flow tech trail. a great option for all of us wanting something other than Flow State!
