Join me for a fall rides at Capital Forest all weekend. These are CoEd intermediate + rides and not for beginners. I'll be setting up camp at Fall Creek Campground and have posted rides for Fri, Sat and Sun. Rides might change slightly based on rider input but will stick to the schedule for the most part. This is the south side of Capital Forest and more backcountry style riding than North Slope and a whole lot more climbing. I'll be riding mostly the blue trails listed below but open to suggestions from the group. Come camp out or just join for the daytime riding.
The Super Loose Plan:
-
Friday 11am(ish): Probably stick to the bunny ears loops... Greenline Climb (1.5m green) --> Lower Greenline (2m blue DH) --> Level Up (3m green climb) --> Little Larch (2m blue flow)
- Friday Night: Taco Night?
-
Saturday 9:30am(ish): Two Options
- Option 1 (8m): Wedekind Climb (4m green) --> Greenline Tie (1m green) --> Greenline (3m blue DH) - potential for other rides in the afternoon
- Option 2 (15m): Wedekind Climb (6m green) --> Crestline (4m XC with some punchy ups & downs) --> Greenline (5m blue DH) - likely tucker me out
-
Saturday Night: Hamburgers and such?
-
Sunday 10am(ish): Two Options
- Option 1: Maybe stick with bunny ears... Greenline Climb (1.5m green) --> Lower Greenline (2m blue DH) --> Level Up (3m green climb) --> Little Larch (2m blue flow)
- Option 2: Play around on other trails... Mima Falls green trails are nearby OR, Waddel Basin blue trails are on the way out of the park.
