Special Clinics and Events

Want more options for learning and having fun on your bike with Evergreen MTB? We offer special clinics and events that allow you to learn from the pros, demo different brands of bikes, connect with the mountain biking community, and get your kid outside with hundreds of other kids for a day of fun and activities!

Evergreen Education classes have concluded for 2017. We will be announcing our new classes and camps in the new year and will commence in April. Thank you for being part of the Evergreen Education Program.

Technical Descending Workshop

Do you want to conquer Predator? Come join the Evergreen Instructors as they break down the skills necessary to conquer Tiger Mt's most infamous trail. We will focus on rocks, roots, steep terrain and how to negotiate them safely while sessioning the lower half of Predator. This class will be an excellent follow-up to our Intro to Freeride class.

 

NOTE: A Full-Face MTB helmet will be required for this class!

Advanced Cornering Workshop

Come join Evergreen for a workshop on advanced high-speed cornering! This class will cover body position, weighting and unweighting the bike, and different cornering scenarios. This class will be an excellent follow-up to our Intro to Freeride class and a will complement other more advanced classes.

Evergreen will be offering a 1-day DH Clinic at Stevens Pass Bike Park for the more advanced rider who is already comfortable with DH riding and seeking to fine-tune their skills. Don't miss the opportunity to be coached by our experienced Evergreen instructors! Each rider will have the chance to spend time with - and receive some helpful tips from Simon Lawton of Fluidride! Only 5 spaces are available for this 1-day class. Minimum Age: 16

To participate riders must meet the following qualifications listed below. Please email Dan Bassett if you have questions.

  • Riding: Minimum 2yrs of advanced technical riding  
  • Local Trails: Tiger - OTG, Predator (able to get down but can’t ride all obstacles); Tokul Crazy Ivan, Flow Tron; Duthie 2 hi, Voodoo Child, Gravy Train.
  • Whistler: B-Line, Crank It Up, Heart of Darkness, Ho Chi Min
  • Skills: Technical trails without getting off the bike, can do small drops (1-2’) easily, comfortable lifting your front wheel over obstacles.
