Description:

This one is for the ladies! Evergreen’s MTB Foundations level 2 caters to the intermediate rider looking to increase confidence on more technical trails in a fun, supportive, female-only environment. While Foundations Level 1 is a highly recommended prerequisite, experienced students are always welcome to join. Ages 14+

This class will focus on:

  • Review of body position, balance,  braking and descending
  • Cornering
  • Obstacle Clearance
  • Trail skills including roll downs and berms
  • Approaching jumps and drops

This female-only class is tailored to the experienced female rider looking to improve skills and become an even stronger, more confident rider. Each class (4 in total) focuses on 2-3 skills - in depth - while out on the trails. Riders will receive feedback and guidance from our experienced instructors in a relaxed and fun setting - while spending the majority of time on the trail in a supportive all-female environment. Minimum Age: 14

This class will focus on:

  • Obstacle clearing

Foundations in the Air

Spend 5 action-packed days of fun in the woods on your mountain bike! Dominate jumps, rip through dirt, and hammer over roots and rocks just like the pros! Technical trickery, jumps, and drops are just some of the skills we work on in these camps. Each day starts off with skill builders and ends with trail rides. We will also cover Some bike and maintenance skills and of course, plenty of bike games! Be sure to come prepared for lots of fun! Groups will be split by age and ability. Come spend a week of action packed fun on two wheels! Evergreen MTB is excited to partner with King County Parks to offer our Youth Dirt Camps at Black Diamond Open Space (BDOS)! This is the first year we will be offering Dirt Camps at BDOS Similar to our very popular camps at Duthie Bike Park, participants will learn all the technical skills to dominate jumps, rip through dirt, and hammer around roots and rocks!  Each day starts off with skill builders and ends with trail rides. We’ll do a hands-on fix-a-flat class and play bike games. Half a day will be spent learning about stewardship and trail maintenance techniques. Be sure to come prepared for lots of fun! Groups will be split by age and ability. Balance games, jumps, and drops are just some of the skills we work on in this camp. Description:

Evergreen’s MTB Foundations Level 2 class builds on the skills participants learn in the Level 1 class. It also provides riders with some experience out on the trails or those who could use review of proper techniques and mountain bike handling an excellent opportunity to take their riding ability to the next level. Learn to navigate tight turns, corner with confidence, and learn wheel lifts that will help you conquer obstacles like roots, logs and just about anything else that you may come across along the trails. Ages 14-17

MTB Dirt Camps for TEENS at Duthie

Description:

Evergreen MTB is excited to offer a 3-day mountain bike camp for TEENS on the week of the 4th of July!! The camp will be similar to our youth dirt camps, starting the morning with skill builders before moving on to trail rides and specific mountain bike techniques (check out the specific skills outlined in the Youth Dirt Camp descriptions). Since this is a teen program, there will be an emphasis on longer cross country rides for those who are interested. Come prepared to have 3 days of fun! Rat Pac Freeride Clinic - Kittitas
