Evergreen Crank Sisters/ Trek Bicycle Co-Ed Ride at John Wayne - Iron Horse Trail

Join us as we explore the John Wayne (Iron Horse) Trail and the Snoqualmie Tunnel.  This is a coed ride. Please arrive by 7:45 am. After short instructions and a pre-ride bike safety check, the ride will begin from the Rattlesnake Lake upper parking lot. A Discovery Pass is required, but other parking is available nearby. We will ride a total of 50 miles. You will be rewarded by stunning views along the way. We will stop to catch our breath and have lunch. Please bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks as those will not be available along the route. This route requires a bike that can handle long distances over gravel. This would include a cyclecross bike, cross-country hardtail mountain bike, or any bike with tires 700x28c or larger.

Grunt rating: We will ride a total of 50 miles (round trip) at a comfortable pace. Crank Sisters/ Trek Bikes have a no-drop policy. We will regroup often and adjust the pace as needed. Please expect a gentle 3,053 elevation gain. Gravel surfaced rail trail follows an old railroad line.
