Crank Sisters Beginner-Intermediate Ride, North SeaTac Park

This ride is for anyone who identifies as female.

North SeaTac Park.

GPS: 47.4800, -122.3050  <-meeting spot

Beware of multiple parking lots. Aim for the lower lot by the Seatac Skatepark/Community Center/Seatac Parks and Recreation Department. See GPS coordinates.

Please arrive by 8:30AM. After short instructions and bike check, the ride will begin at 8:45AM. Please be on time - we cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers. If you decide not to come, please text me.

Ride leader contact info:  Sunna Kwun; once you are signed up, I will email or text you with contact information the day before the ride.

Suggested Equipment: water, backpack with some snacks, and spare bike tube (or however you like to fix flats), elbow and knee pads optional

Trails: green beginner level; these are largely short segmented trails, high fitness NOT a requirement. we'll be stopping to regroup frequently as the trails are maze-like

Conditions for cancellation: (heavy wind, lightning, etc.) If a ride must be canceled, the ride leader will attempt to contact anyone signed up by 3pm the day before the ride.

Grunt rating: easy with frequent stops for regrouping, plan to ride for 1.5-2 hours depending on group enthusiasm

Crank Sisters have a no-drop policy--we will regroup often and adjust the pace based on riders' preference.

This ride is limited to 4 riders. Sorry, but we can't accept "walk-ons". You do need to sign up here before arriving. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE RIDE, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR SPOT ONLINE AND/OR CONTACT THE RIDE LEADER ASAP SO THAT YOUR SPOT CAN BE OPENED UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

Before coming to the ride (for both ride leaders & participants):

·  Make sure to fill out our online waiver

·  Please perform a symptoms self-assessment

o    Take your temperature. Do you have a temperature above 100.4?

o    Do you have any COVID-related symptoms? 

o    Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

o    If you answer yes to any of these questions, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE RIDE

Please feel free to bring whatever COVID protection you feel you need. Masks, gloves are optional at this time.
