Coed Intermediate Ride at Olallie!

10/10/2019,  4:00 pm -  6:30 pm

This ride is not technical but is a challenging 60+ minute climb. Due to time constraints, we'll not climb the entire trail. The ride is open to beginner-mediates, intermediates, and more advanced riders who are interested in climbing. We'll take breaks as needed.

Ride Details

  • Start time: 4 PM - Please be on time. We cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers. If you sign up and decide not to come, PLEASE text me!

  • Trail: Olallie (out-and-back heading up Cedar Butte)
  • Conditions for cancellation:  Heavy wind, lightning, deep snow. We ride in the rain and cold! If a ride must be cancelled, the ride leader will attempt to notify anyone signed up by 3 pm the day before.
  • Grunt rating: High. Plan to climb for 60 minutes with breaks. We'll try to be done by 6:00 PM.

Bike Requirements
You can ride this trail with any mountain bike in good working order. Please make sure your bike is in good working order. If unsure, take your bike to a bike mechanic before the ride. Also, bring an extra tube that fits your bike, so you can repair a flat tire.

From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 32 for 436th Avenue SE. Turn right onto 436th Avenue SE, also signed as Cedar Falls Road SE. Proceed about four miles down the road to the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot on the right. (Meet at the first Rattlesnake Lake parking lot on the right.)

Evergreen has a no-drop policy. We will regroup often and adjust the pace based on riders' preference. Sessioning is encouraged. Bring food, appropriate clothing for the weather,
 and plenty of water.
