Stinky Spoke 2019

03/09/2019, 10:00 am -  3:00 pm
Redmond Rotary, which has taken over the popular decade-old event, was forced to postpone Stinky Spoke this because of treacherous trail conditions. The new date is this Saturday, March 9th.
The course starts at Redmond Town Hall. Bikers head north on Sammamish River Trail before turning east onto Tolt Pipeline Trail and tackling Heart Attack Hill. The route winds through the hills east of Redmond, and returns via the Powerline Trail.
Stinky Spoke is a fund-raiser for charities supported by Rotary. Beneficiaries include  Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center,  Together Center, and  Hopelink.
The cost of the ride is $55. For that, all participants will get a Stinky Spoke beanie and a pint glass. Free coffee and mini-bagels will be available at the start at Redmond City Hall. Hot chocolate and snacks will be served along the route.
At the finish line at Redmond City Hall, riders will get a free drink ticket courtesy of  PostDoc Brewery.
Riders also get a playing card at each pit stop for the poker game that will take place after the ride. More than $7,000 in prizes have been donated for this, including a $1,900 Specialized bike donated by  Edge and Spoke.
