Home > Events > Women's Trail School and Dig Day

We have suspended all Evergreen community events, education classes, volunteer work parties and in-person meetings through May 31st. This applies statewide across our 8 chapters. If you have signed up for an Evergreen-sponsored event happening during this time, you will be contacted by an administrator.

Good news: You can host a virtual event, and add it to the Evergreen calendar same way as any other event before. Simply log in and hit the New Event button.

Women's Trail School and Dig Day

01/12/2019,  8:00 am
Work Parties

Hey ladies! Interested in trail building but don't know what it takes? Want to improve your existing trail building skills and knowledge? Feel a little intimidated joining a coed trail day? Come learn the techniques and details you need to know to build awesome and sustainable mountain biking trails in a friendly environment.  Evergreen’s professional trail builders will provide the insight and technical knowledge necessary to build the best mountain bike trails. We will start the day with a classroom session and presentation at Compass. After a delicious lunch provided by Sturdy B Racing, we will load up in vehicles and head to Raging River so we can spend the afternoon using the new knowledge and skills. Once at Raging, our trail crew will split everyone into smaller groups and lead each group to project sites to get first hand experience using the techniques that have been taught. This event is open to all women (or those identifying as such) and if there is space we will be opening it up to men as well.

8:00 - 11:30 am:  Classroom Session -  Compass

11:30 - Noon:  Lunch - Provided by Sturdy B Racing

Noon:  Load up and head to Raging River
