Crank Sisters Quick Intermediate, Raging River
Evergreen Crank Sisters Women's Group Advanced Intermediate Ride
This ride if for anyone who identifies as female.
Meet at Raging River at 12:30 PM, main trailhead by the bathroom:
DIRECTIONS: Take I-90 to Exit 27. Turn on to Winery Road and either park here or continue to the main parking lot (1/4 mile from I-90, Discover Pass needed). Ride the 50 feet of trail by the bathroom, Please stay off the hiking trails.
Starting time is 12:45 PM. Please be on time--we cannot wait more than 10 minutes for late arrivers.

Suggested Equipment: 2 liters of water, electrolytes, backpack with some snacks, and spare bike tube
Riders must have good fitness and confidence in riding this type of ride.
About the ride Blue Trails unless decided otherwise by the group:
The ride will have steep continuous riding uphill and technical fast downhill riding. We will ride for about 3.5 hours. Social Interaction and Fun is the main priorty. We will stop to have breaks at the fire road intersections and have a longer break at the top lookout. We will decent downhill the blue trails and avoid the black trails (unless otherwise determined by the group) at a cautious pace making sure that no one gets dropped and looking around for others outside our group on the trails.
Conditions for cancellation: (heavy wind, lightning, etc.) If a ride must be canceled, the ride leader will attempt to contact anyone signed up by 3pm the day before the ride.
Grunt rating: plan to ride for 3.5 hours
Crank Sisters have a no-drop policy--we will regroup often and adjust the pace based on riders' preference.
While we’re outside in the fresh air, it is important that we take precautions to minimize the risk of spreading COVID. This ride is limited to 8 riders. Sorry, but we can't accept "walk-ons". You do need to sign up here before arriving. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE RIDE, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR SPOT ONLINE AND/OR CONTACT THE RIDE LEADER ASAP SO THAT YOUR SPOT CAN BE OPENED UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
Before coming to the ride (for both ride leaders & participants):
· Make sure to fill out our online waiver
· Please perform a symptoms self-assessment
o Take your temperature. Do you have a temperature above 100.4?
o Do you have any COVID-related symptoms?
o Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
o If you answer yes to any of these questions, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE RIDE
Expectations for riders & leaders:
·Required equipment: You are expected to bring a mask that can cover mouth and nose, any material is acceptable (state guidelines) and gloves (your biking gloves are OK). Please note that without this PPE, we will have to ask you to leave the ride
·Please bring hand sanitizer and / or disinfectant wipes to use as needed if touching of a common surface is required
·You will be asked to wear your mask anytime close contact (less than 6ft) is required for an extended period of time (>5 min), including during any bike checks, times when you're stopped for discussion, or if you come into contact with other trail users.
·Please bear with us as we try to navigate group rides during a time of social distancing and additional hygiene. It's a learning process for all of us and I appreciate your flexibility and cooperation.
