General

The Tiffany Mountain Loop is a spectacular high altitude ride. It can be difficult to follow in places and does contain some hike-a-bike, but the views from Freezeout Ridge are amazing and Tiffany Lake is a beautiful alpine lake. For the rider wanting to get on his bike and not get off until the ride is done, there are better choices. However, for the rider who doesn't mind being off the beaten track a little in exchange for scenic beauty, this is the one.

High elevation mountain pass. Burned areas with "Rockies" feel.

There is a FS campground right at the trail head, and the elevation usually makes for a much cooler place to hang out then the valleys below.
